Our Story
Who We Are
P&C Repair was founded by Shaun Hayes, who began by doing side work repairing vehicles in his garage alongside his friend Bob. Word quickly spread about the high quality of their work and the superior level of service they provided to every customer. As demand grew, Shaun recognized the opportunity to turn his passion into a full-time business.
In 2015, Shaun and his wife Kelly opened P&C Repair, LLC at 19 Waterbury Road in Thomaston, Connecticut. They named the shop after their two sons, Patrick and Connor. In 2018, the shop moved to its current location at 64 N Main Street, giving the team more space to serve a growing customer base. From day one, the shop operated under a simple motto:“Big or Small ... We Can Fix Them All!” That commitment to taking on any job, no matter the size, has defined P&C Repair ever since.
Today, P&C Repair services cars and trucks of all makes and models, including medium and heavy-duty trucks. The shop provides oil changes, brake repair, engine repair, transmission work, tires and alignment, exhaust services, A/C service including charge and compressor replacement, undercoating, tune-ups, head gaskets, timing belts and water pumps, CT emissions testing, and full diagnostics. P&C Repair holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, a 4.8-star Google rating, and brings 32+ years of combined mechanical experience to every vehicle that comes through its doors.

Shaun has been working on cars since he was a kid -- started wrenching on his own around 12, went to technical school at 14, and has been a working mechanic ever since. Before P&C Repair, he ran side work out of his home garage with his friend Bob. In 2015 he and Kelly opened the shop at 19 Waterbury Rd, then moved to 64 N Main in 2018. He's the one under the hood for engine, electrical, brake, and emissions repairs.
